WW2 Japanese Type "I" Carcano Rifle 6.5mm
Here is a nice oddity of WW2. Manufactured in Italy for the Japanese Military in the 1930's is this "Type I" rifle in 6,5mm (6.5 Japanese). Essentially a Carcano rifle with an Arisaka style magazine. This example is in very nice unmolested condition. Wood is unsanded and shows just a few dings from service, and bluing is about 80% and shows darker in person than my flash pictures make it look. Bore is shiny and sharp with just a trace of light frost, and should shoot very well.
