These classic long Mauser rifles used to be common, but have dried up over the years and now are a bit hard to find in such nice condition. This started life as a Czech VZ 22 rifle, and underwent a rebuild in the Turkish Arsenal at Ankara in 1942. It has a very nice dark walnut stock, and a nice bore. Has a discreet import mark on the side of the barrel near the front sight. This rifle looks like it has not been shot much since it was rebuilt in 1942, with just a little storage wear showing. In 8x57 Mauser (Standard 8mm) these make great shooters!
