SUPER NICE 1949 No.4 Canadian Enfield .303
Considered some of the nicer No 4 Enfields are those built in the Canadian Arsenal of Longbranch. This example built in 1949 was made in the last year for Enfields at Longbranch. It shows just a few dings and dents in the stock, but other than that is rather minty. The numbers on the bolt and receiver match, with no other numbered parts. The bore is mirror bright, tight and minty. Looks like this one was in storage for many many years before being imported to the US in the 1990's. Has a discreet tiny import mark on the left side of receiver. One of the nicer Longbranch Enfields we have seen in many years!
