Minty 1975 Polish P64 in 9mm Makarov
This little gem of a pistol comes from an Ohio estate and looks not to have been used/shot since importation. With matching numbers, and about 98% of it's original bluing remaining this Polish copy of a Walther PPK comes with one matching numbered mag and one slightly used non matching number mag. The bore is perfect. Built in the Polish Radom (circle"11" marking) factory they were used by both police, and high ranking officers in the Polish Military. While looking much like the Walther PPK, they are a bit of a hybrid, with roots in the Soviet Makarov design as well as the Walthers. Chambered in 9x18 Makarov they make a nice carry gun, and many owners use them as such. While this one will easily serve that purpose, it also is in such nice shape that it will make a good investment for a collection. While these well made little pistols have a decent trigger pull in single action mode, they are known for their stout double action pull, and this one is no exception. It has a rather neat and smaller Century Arms import stamp on the left side that is WAY nicer than the huge dot matrix stamps on current batches of these pistols.
