When you think of WW1 or WW2 the most iconic weapon of both conflicts has to be the LUGER!
Here is a nice GI bring back Luger fresh from an estate. Built in 1936 at Mauser Works (s/42 Code) the pistol is complete with a nice holster, and the take down/loading tool. The pistol itself features all matching numbers, except for the magazine that is unnumbered. The holster shows the nazi production code "bml 41" over an eagle and WaA768. The holster is sound and in nice condition with no loose stitching, or rot. It does show some wear to the lower edge of the spare magazine pouch, but no rips or tears. (see close up)
The pistol shows some holster wear to the front muzzle edge of the barrel, and some thinning bluing on the grip straps, and left side of the barrel, but nothing unexpected. The pictures show the condition very well, so be sure to zoom in on them! The bore is shiny and with strong rifling, but shows some frosting in the rear areas. Magazine is sound and functional and actually dates from slightly earlier than this pistol, but functions and the condition matches the pistol well. This is the perfect Luger for those that want a collectible pistol, but also want to shoot it from time to time. It is nice enough that it displays well, but not too nice that you would be afraid to shoot it.
