WW2 German FN Model 1922 & Holster
A nice example of the German use of captured pistols and factories! Built in the famed Fabrique Nationale (FN) plant in Belgium after the Germans overran the country is this FN Model 1922 pistol. Built in the later stages of 1944 it shows the crude final fit and finish typical of this variation. With matching numbers and an original holster it has spent many years in storage. The metal shows some holster wear and a few dings and nicks, but nothing too ugly. This one obviously saw use during the war. The slide markings show the typical Belgian markings as well as the Nazi inspection stamps. A decent example of a very popular pistol in the Pre-WW2 Era, and used by dozens of countries before WW2 for both Police and Military use.
