Russian SKS 1950 Tula 7.62x39
Here is another early Russian SKS showing all of the early Russian SKS features still... Despite having been through a "Light" arsenal rebuild. By "Light" we mean that it still shows all original parts, but has a replacement stock, and has the later "Paint" metal finish common to Russian refurbishment programs. Of note, the bolt and carrier are still in the "White" as is correct for a "Light" rebuild. This example has the early style gas block, and bolt and spring loaded firing pin of the early variations as is correct for a 1950 dated Tula build SKS. The numbers all match, the bore is bright, sharp and shiny but does show a little wear, and the sling is an original Russian military issue sling. It has a very discreet and tiny KBI Import import marking on the left side of the receiver that hardly shows.
