Here we have a project rifle for you. It is a Japanese Type 99 Long. In the earliest stages of the Type 99's the first 14,000 or so were made in the length of the earlier type 38s. Shortly after production began the Japanese adopted a shorter version of the 99. This is one of the earlier long versions. Sadly the rifle was duffle bag cut, and the front of the stock, and front band are missing. The rifle has the Mum ground, and has matching numbers, and hasa stunning Mint bore! If you have some spare parts for one, or enjoy woodworking and such, here is a rather rare rifle that could be restored or used for parts to improve another. Your choice.
