Argentine Model 1909 Mauser by DWM in 7.65mm Argentine
These Model 1909 Argentine Mausers are one of the most distinctive rifles to come from South America. Built to exacting standards by DWM of Berlin Germany of the Pre WW1 days they have one of the smoothest Mauser actions you will find. Combine that with the unique "In The White" finish on the receivers and they really stand out!
This one is an older import, and as such has no import markings. The bluing is strong, with traces of wear, and the stock shows some light dings and dents from 110 years of service as well. The rifle has been through an Argentine refurbishment, and this mostly seems to consist of being refinished and having new springs installed. The numbers on the rifle all match (except for the muzzle cover) and this bolt works like a hot knife through butter! The bore is strong and bright, and does show some wear, but the muzzle is tight still. Comes with the sling and muzzle cover shown in the pictures.
