Here is a wonderful old survivor! This US Model 1898 Krag rifle is in amazing condition. The bore is bright, sharp and shiny and tight at the muzzle, the stock has not been sanded or "improved" and the Inspection cartouche (dated 1899) is crisp and sharp! It comes with an original Leather sling marked "W.K.G." The action on this rifle is just as smooth and comfortable, that just cycling the bolt tells you why these were often chopped up into sporting rifles back in the day. This one survived intact and displays very well!
