Last Ditch Japanese Type 99 7.7mm
A nice little Japanese type 99 made late in 1944 at the Nagoya arsenal. (series 10) It features all the late war characteristics such as the crude stock, non-adjustable rear sight, welded bold safety knob and no "Type 99" markings. The mum has been ground indicating surrender at the end of the war, and the bore is minty bright. Bolt number matches, with no other numbered parts. Metal has traces of black paint on it, that is thought to indicate use by the Japanese Navy.
