Enfield #1 RFI .410 Single Shot
Here is an unusual little Enfield not often seen these days. Made for the Indian Police and Prison Guards is this No.1 Pattern Enfield converted to a 410 Shotgun! They have the magazine well plugged with wood, and are single shot only. Originally made in a 2 inch length shell, this one like many has been chamber reamed to take modern 3 inch shells. Built at RFI (Royal Arms Factory Ishapore) in 1948 it has matching numbers, a mint bore and makes a wonderful addition to your British Collection. These are fun to shoot as they have almost no recall at all.
